The Story
The beginnings
Our history has its roots in the 19th century, when Antonio Porcheddu, born in 1867, brought back to Ossi what he had learned during his years in South America: the power of work, the art of digging into rock, the resilience of those who face difficulties without giving up. With courage and vision, Antonio transformed that knowledge into a concrete dream: he created Sa Grutta , a unique place hand-carved into the tuff, which soon became the beating heart of the town's grape harvest.
A historical legacy
In those stone vats, carved with labor and ingenuity, small-scale winemakers gathered to press grapes, ferment the must, and share tools, labor, and hopes. It was a community winery before its time, a place of unity and tradition that still lives on in memory today. The vats, still intact, stand as a silent witness to that past of sweat, collaboration, and passion.
Over time, that precious legacy passed into the hands of our grandfather Sebastiano Muresu, who continued the work with dedication until the 1970s, passing on the same love of the vine to his children. Our father, Antonio Giuseppe, in turn, took up the baton and decided to plant a new vineyard in Corradile, choosing native grape varieties and keeping alive the unbreakable bond between wine and terroir.

A new lifeblood
This brings us to 2015, when we felt the need to breathe new life into this family tradition. Sebastiano, grandson and namesake of his grandfather, planted new vineyards alongside the historic ones, and today, together with Maria, we proudly continue this tradition, preserving the work of our ancestors and projecting it into the future.
For us, wine has never been a simple product: it's part of our identity, a bond with the land and the generations that came before us. Each bottle captures not only the fruit of the vines, but also the scents of the mistral wind, the strength of the seasons, and the memory of those who believed that wine could be a voice of our Sardinia.
