The labels

How our labels are born

The packaging of a bottle is not just a sign of recognition, but an act of remembrance . Each label is born from the desire to recount the origins and soul of the land from which our wine springs.

Ossi , the ancient heart of Sardinia, holds a thousand-year-old history carved into the rock: among its nuraghi and the mysterious domus de janas , underground tombs dating back to over 3000 years BC, lies the voice of the first inhabitants of this island.

The figure depicted on the label was created by the artist Vincenzo Ganau.

A bridge between past and present

We have chosen to give form to this legacy through the archaic symbols carved five thousand years ago by the men who inhabited these lands—signs of strength, spirituality, and rebirth . They live on today on our labels, like a bridge between past and present , between the sacredness of origins and the vitality of wine , fruit of the same land and the same spirit that has united the Sardinian people for millennia.

Fertility and rebirth

The Bull protomes (or bucrania) sculpted in the domus de janas of Mesu and Montes in Ossi, three kilometers from the “Corradile” estates, symbolically represent the head or horns of a bull . In prehistoric Sardinian art, they had a strong ritual and religious value , linked to the life force, fertility, and rebirth .

Purification

The hearth in Tomb II of Mesu 'e Montes is a circular sculpture carved into the floor, bordered by a raised edge and featuring three central reliefs resembling flames . It did not have a domestic function, but rather a ritual and symbolic one : it represented the eternal fire , an emblem of purification, regeneration, and the continuity of life after death . In this funerary context, the hearth becomes a sacred sign, a spiritual presence of fire that accompanies the deceased on their passage to the afterlife.

Symbolic union between ancient signs and wine

Our labels are born from the desire to create a bridge between the land, the history, and the soul of the Sardinian people . The symbols carved five thousand years ago in the Domus de Janas of Mesu 'e Montes , the bull protomes and the ritual hearth , are emblems of a primordial force that still lives in our identity today.

The symbols

The bull , with its mighty horns, represents vitality, fertility, and the cyclical rebirth of nature ; the fire of the hearth , on the other hand, is the spiritual breath , the inner light that purifies and regenerates. By uniting these two signs—the strength of the earth and the light of fire —the image of a steadfast and vital people is born, capable of transforming matter into spirit, fruit into wine.

Just as the bull sinks its roots into the earth and fire enhances its energy, wine too is born from the same alchemy: the earth that nourishes , the sun that lights , the hand of man that passes on . Wine then becomes a unifying symbol , capable of encapsulating the millennial history, strength, and soul of Sardinia , renewing each time, in a glass, the profound bond between life, memory, and rebirth .
